Lucy Muchina, Regional Director, RCN South West, has spoken out against the abuse of health staff, following an incident in Cornwall where a staff member was spat at after asking a patient to put on a facemask. The patient refused, saying he didn’t need to wear one anymore, and then spat at the nurse.
