UPDATE: Retired nurses, who have joined the NMC temporary register to help during the COVID-19 pandemic, will receive full support and representation under our 'retired membership' payment plan whilst they remain on the temporary register.

Nurse first year discount membership
for newly registered nurses in their first year of registration with the NMC. 



Nurse full membership
for registered nurses and midwives.



Joint RCM membership**
nurses and midwives can join both the RCN and RCM.



Joint educational membership**
for those working in a role recognised by UCU or EIS.



Voluntary break membership
existing nurse members not currently working or taking a break from nursing.



Retired membership
registered nurses and midwives who have now retired from nursing.
