RCN Congress

Due to Covid-19, the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) did not go ahead with Congress 2020 in Liverpool this year.

The Agenda Committee has instead selected a number of the debates and events from the 2020 Congress programme which will take place online throughout the rest of the year.

Find out more about our #RCN2020 programme of events and debates.

RCN Council published the Independent Governance Review Report on Thursday 11 June as planned.

The annual general meeting will take place on 6 August.

Congress 2021

We have already started planning for Congress 2021 in Liverpool 16 to 20 May. Applications for voting members will open slightly later than usual on 1 September. As promised, priority will be given to members who were selected in 2020. The process for this will be published shortly.

In the event that the pandemic unfortunately continues we are also making contingency plans for either a hybrid or fully virtual event.
