We have lots of ways that you can connect with the branch:
How to get involved with RCN Surrey Branch:
- volunteer as branch public relations lead to monitor and maintain our social media sites (supporting the Branch Secretary)
- become an RCN Steward, Health & Safety Rep or Learning Rep.
- contact RCN Officers Colin White, Ross Flanagan or Don Tallo, Senior Regional Officer for Surrey
- Apply for a role on the RCN Surrey Branch Executive Committee. (Nominations are taken in September for elections at the AGM and the roles of Chair, Treasurer and Secretary run from 1st January until 31st December).
RCN Surrey Branch is member led so please let us know what you want from us and what topics would be useful for you.
Nationally the RCN is campaigning hard on safe staffing and fair pay for nursing and there will be opportunities for you to get involved in these campaigns on a local level too.
