All our lives have been touched by the pandemic, and we are devastated to have lost members of London’s nursing community to COVID-19. We will always remember their commitment and dedication to Londoners and to nursing.
The pandemic has shone a light on the invaluable work you do, and you have had to work in conditions none of us could have imagined. Just as you have continued to show up for your patients when things have been really tough, I can’t emphasise enough how important your health and wellbeing is too. Make time to access the support you need, whether that be through the RCN, or your own support networks.
The RCN is its members. Your voice, your experience is powerful. Whether you have 1 minute to sign or share the #FairPayForNursing petition, 5 minutes to put up a poster at work or have a bit longer and want to meet with your local MP, now is the time we make sure the voice of nursing in London is heard.
